I am not here to be the voice of reason. I am here on the other side of the mirror beckoning you inside so that you can see from the inside out, so that you can become more uncertain about the world you think you live in so that you’ll be forced to look somewhere else. From the other side of the mirror the only way to make it back to your world of creature comforts is to be unreasonable.

Albert Einstein said that imagination is the greatest creative force in the universe. Why would such a great man say something that sounds so silly and trivial? Look at those words again: ‘greatest creative force’. Imagination. Not education, not money, not luck.

If you fear that getting through to other side will unalterably change you, it will. How you feel about that isn’t relevant, it will happen anyway. What kinds of changes can you expect if you seriously explore psychic development? This week we talked about just a few.

Normally humans have built in radar against evil people. When you are in the presence of an evil person you will get a shaky creepy feeling and want to run for your life. Ok maybe yes maybe no. Once again, if evil were obvious most people wouldn’t be afraid of it. Instead, most humans seem to gravitate toward it. Lets see now, which evil habits will you commit to giving up? When you are in the presence of an angel person you will feel a warm glow. At first glance, this may seem to make sense but wait a second, are things like heat and excessive blinding light really a good thing? “But angels protect you and tell you what to do when you’re in trouble or just when you feel bad” you say. Oh so its ok to listen to otherworldly voices if you call them angels, its ok to do what disembodied voices tell you as long as they’re not the bad guys. I repeat, evil is very charismatic. Get out your Ouija board, picture a white light around you, and call out for angels to tell you your future or some ‘special message’ they have just for you. Then go have a look in your mirror, if you notice the word ‘gullible’ imprinted backwards don’t blame me.

We also talked about awakening intuition. But be careful, anything that can take what your retina first sees upside down and then sees past what your rational mind totally misses can be some wicked stuff. But you know me, I like wicked stuff.

For the religious person, God excites the mind. For the mystic, God stops it. The question never is, where was God during any tragedy or negative personal event, but where were you?

This week we try and understand that the same energy that we are made of IS God. What does that do to our excuses for the way our own lives go? Go ahead, send me a resmerandum about that one. I’m ready for ya:)

If you see your life as too hard, if you believe that people and circumstances for the most part, are against you, they will be. That’s because you’ve closed yourself off from receiving love. You’ve become the opposite of all the things you claim to want. Two people can see things entirely differently; go outside on a day of any kind of weather for instance. One person will describe what they see as a beautiful circumstance, rain or shine, they’ll see that lightening itself, makes everything greener and more alive after the storm, they’ll smell the rain and wind and love the way that feels. Someone else will be standing right next to them in that same circumstance and be afraid of the potential danger lightening holds, afraid of the sound of thunder, worried that the power will go out as it gets darker and darker. These two people are in the same storm, one sees and feels life, the other fear. Why? Do they both know that they’re choosing what perspective to have, choosing what experience to have?

Maybe they weren’t aware they could, but now, you are. Now, you are responsible to choose what kind of experiences you will have every minute of your life, from this moment on. Its now up to you, to notice what’s going on around you and choose how to experience it.

The next time friends or family rag on you that you just need to freaking move ON from that jerk who lied, cheated, stole your wallet, your cat, your favorite shirt AND your heart, tell them you’d love to but you’re just too ‘besotted‘ (to muddle or stupefy, as with alcoholic liquor or infatuation.).

Go on practice saying it. It helps all those chemicals in your brain that caused this condition to get back to normal.
