Miss Cleo Isn’t Dead She Just Changed Her Turban

darkI’m not talking about the actual woman who played that character in the infamous infomercial we all know and loathe. I am talking about the kind of greed, complete lack of ethics, & fraudulant activity that produced that phenomenon to begin with.

One would think that when certain individuals were prosecuted and fined for certain activities involving defrauding folks AND ethical psychics that lessons were learned that influenced choices and business dealings that certain ex-cons would make in the future. WRONG!

How else could they relive the bad old days of making enough money to resume buying mansions, boats, and extremely tacky leather furniture (turquoise and pink no less godd that was sooo 80′s) to show off to their neighbors in I’mHotShit Florida? They rinse, rebrand, and repeat that’s how. Yes they ARE at it again.

Why am I raving on about this topic? Because it has recently come to my attention that there are a few sites on the net that look marvelous and are in reality run by the same “miss cleo” folks and in fact have been for quite some time. Although some are relatively new and some are in development as we speak. And ok it UPSETS ME when the heartfelt memories and positive experiences of both clients and psychics are being capitalized on while allowing them all to believe something else is happening.

I’m not going to go into the specifics right here of who what where and when but I SURE AM going to say in this post that it matters now more than EVER that when you want the counseling and advice of a REAL and ETHICAL psychic you best find out who it is you’re dealing with.

I don’t just mean the reader because good readers can be contracted to work with real slimeballs and not realize it for awhile. I shudder to think how close I came myself.(*headsup to all my psychic homies here people!) It was many of the psychics themselves who brought many of the complaints against the owners of the Miss Cleo sideshow btw.

Please please please do NOT pay a site or a telephone line a goshdern dime just because its pretty, looks ‘professional’, has lots of good testimonials on it, articles about psychic topics and promises to not screw you over. Make good use of tools on the net to research like WhoIs and Google, find out who owns what and where and anything else you can. The best way to find a reader you can trust is by word of mouth from someone you know, and/or believing your own BS meter.

Got questions? Ask me! I’m here for ya:)
