You do not have the power nor the right to control anyone other than yourself, but know and be in control of your own mind you must. Do not be afraid of the backlash. Stand tall and do what you know in your heart is right and just. You know that ignorance can no longer rule the day. You know that blind obedience is no longer a viable option.
Yes there are some pretty badass storms out there effecting everyone’s life but to you I say, meet me in the eye of the storm. That is the one place where there is quiet and peace, the one place where you can see everything that’s swirling around you without being effected by it and decide what you’re going to do next. You can be concerned about your job, your house, your wardrobe, your car, the opinions of your fellow slaves, your credit rating and your gym membership some other day. If you can’t take more than 10 minutes to think about the things that really matter, the things you can’t take with you when you die, the real reason you’re on this planet in the first place, then for godsakes just take the ten and start there at least.

You are soooo on POINT with this one Ressy. Sometimes changing seems to bring bigger storms than before and I always seem to get ‘caught up’ in the hum drum day to day myself and I HATE it! Literally life itself makes it easy to get distracted so much that I am even ready to throw out the cable box and yet I have to keep the internet for everything else! lol. Love and Light to you for your wisdom and insight!
Salaam Namaste!
oh ya know, I really believe spirit gives me this kind of understanding because I am constantly having to stay organized and focused myself. I’ve learned that the ‘other’ choice is feeling discombolated, getting nowhere and bringing on bouts of self loathing because I didn’t do what I knew I should. So… why not just AVOID all that?! lol There is alot to be said for hum-drum-day-to-day. Those are the peaceful times when we can be aware of the LACK of chaos in our lives. The point is, to prioritize. Keep your end of the deal with yourself. If you stray, just get going again and don’t sweat it. There’s a place for everything. When you put all your own ‘stuff’ where it belongs, pressure is practically non-existent. I’m too old to deal with self-inflicted pressure. Its exhausting. I’ll say again; Now is all that’s real. Everything else is just a concept. This may be overused but its an example I love: Scarlet O’Hara standing out in the middle of a field, war and storms all around her, she looks up into the sky, shakes her fist and shouts defiantly “As god is my witness; I’ll NEVER GO HUNGRY AGAIN!” and well, she didn’t. She made that declaration from the eye of the storm; it was effective immediately, and she never confused ‘today’ with ‘tomorrow’. Goshdarnit you made me start preachin’ again. LOL :)
