Sir William Barrett, Professor of Physics at the Royal College of Science for Dublin from 1873-1910 and one of the distinguished early psychical researchers. It was Barrett who first initiated the founding of both the American and British Society for Psychical Research. Sir William shed his mortal coil some years ago yet he leaves us with rich and compelling accounts witnessed by himself and other men of letters, the likes of which conducted seances and research at none other than Cambridge University among other places.
